1. Service Description

AthleteX Series is an independent platform allowing athletes to create physical and digital collectible cards based on their personal performance data.

The platform provides design templates and manufacturing services. Users provide personal images and identify their performance records.

6. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in euros (EUR), inclusive of applicable VAT. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before order confirmation.

Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of order. The order is confirmed only after successful payment authorization.

7. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.

Since each card is custom-produced with your personal photo and performance data, orders for physical cards cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has started. Digital cards, being immediately delivered, are also excluded from the right of withdrawal.

8. Delivery

Physical cards are produced and shipped within the estimated timeframe indicated at checkout. Delivery times depend on the destination and the shipping method selected.

In case of delivery delay exceeding 30 days from the confirmed shipping date, the buyer may cancel the order in accordance with Article L216-2 of the French Consumer Code.

2. Independent Status & Intellectual Property

  • All platform code, templates, and layouts are the property of AthleteX Series.
  • AthleteX Series is independently operated and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any event organizer or competition brand.
  • Event names and performance data are used strictly for identification purposes based on publicly available records.

3. User Content Responsibilities

By uploading a photo, you confirm that:

  • you own the rights to the image or have permission to use it
  • the image does not infringe third-party rights
  • the image does not contain illegal, violent, or offensive content

AthleteX Series reserves the right to refuse production of any card that violates these conditions.

4. Product Nature

Digital cards are visual representations of performance data.

Physical cards are collectible memorabilia items and are not official documents, licenses, or certificates.

9. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

Physical cards benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-1 to L217-14 of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code).

In case of a defect of conformity (printing error, damaged card), the buyer may request replacement or refund within 2 years of delivery, without charge.

5. Liability

The service is provided “as is”.

AthleteX Series cannot guarantee the accuracy of third-party public data sources and is not responsible for errors originating from them.

10. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from the use of the platform or the execution of an order shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to the consumer's right to bring proceedings before the court of their domicile.

11. Consumer Mediation

In accordance with Articles L612-1 and R612-1 of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute that could not be resolved through customer service, the consumer may submit the dispute to a consumer mediator free of charge. The designated mediator will be indicated here once appointed. You may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
